Tom, G. Willow in a interview says if she had the chance she would put Psylocke back in her original body because the whole white-woman-in-an-Asian-body is off-putting and even offensive to some, etc. So now you have a chance to restore Psylocke to her real body once Secret Wars ends. I hope Marvel finally fixes this mistake with Betsy and we have the original Psylocke back.

Willow isn’t writing a Psylocke series at the moment, though, nor any series in which Psylocke plays a role.

Seriously, it’s weird that some fans will complain till they’re blue in the face about Sam Wilson being Captain America or Thor being a woman, but you put Psylocke’s mind into an Asian woman’s body and they’re fine with it. I can’t help but feel it’s because the Asian Psylocke is drawn a lot sexier than white Betsy ever was.
