Doesn’t have anything to do with any of that. More with the fact that, right at this moment, Ghost Rider seems to be of limited appeal in the marketplace.
Thisssss. Ghost Rider is as much a product of the popularity of horror/occult characters as Dazzler is a product of the popularity of disco music. They weren’t designed for lasting appeal. That’s not to say interesting things can’t be done with either character in the modern era (All New Ghost Rider was a blast), just to say that they’re both very much products of fads and can’t really stand on their own on the level of a Spider-Man or Captain America.
